Are You In Love With Yourself?

As I was exercising one day, I looked down and gave serious thought to what my t-shirt said, “Fall in love with YOU” and I realized that I had.
I had fallen in love with the most important person in my life, ME.
I developed this “self-love” by accepting and celebrating everything—the good and the not so good that makes me uniquely me and I have intentionally presented it to the world.

AFTER A LOT OF HARD WORK

This self-love developed after a lot of hard work. I have had to accept those aspects of myself that I don’t like and work on improving myself in those areas. I have also learned to be gracious yet humble for those aspects of myself that I like.
Most importantly, I have learned to love myself relentlessly and unapologetically. Not only when I accomplish a goal and do things right, but even when I fall flat on my face and do something wrong. I understand that my worth is not determined by what I can and cannot do but who I truly am.

THE GREATEST GIFT THAT WE CAN GIVE OURSELVES IS SELF-LOVE

You cannot love others fully if you are not able to love yourself. Most importantly, love yourself completely. By this I mean, your imperfections and perfections, your quirks and your lovable attributes. Everything that makes you uniquely you.

The lesson:

PRESENT TO THE WORLD WHO YOU TRULY ARE

This is the most important step in creating “self-love” and guarantees that you will be a perfect fit for anyone that values who you are authentically. You will not have to change who you are but continue to work to become the best you and surround yourself with those that love YOU for who you truly are.
